I have been feeling a little under the weather since Sunday, scratchy throat, dry cough, etc. I just feel run down and tired. I took a rest time with Liam yesterday and he fell asleep in my bed. Today he asked to take a nap with me. It's my payback from when he was a baby and wouldn't cuddle with me. I didn't sleep either time, but I really enjoyed resting and taking some time to slow down. I have all of these things I need to do, but those things can wait.
The weather has been warm today, but it's overcast and looks like rain is coming. We had such a beautiful day yesterday, maybe a last hurrah before we get hit with colder weather. Liam and I went to JMU and ate lunch with Mark on the back porch of his building. I would have liked to have taken a walk, but I just felt too gross. I hope the flu stays far away from our home this winter. I would much rather have a little cold than the flu.
