Peach Tart

This tart was so good. Homemade pie crust, locally grown peaches, just a bit of seasoning....yummmmmmmmmmmy! I need to eat a piece with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream or something. It's hard to believe that I hated peaches growing up. Canned peaches have nothing on fresh ones, but they'll do in a pinch. Liam ate his first fresh peach this week. He adores canned peaches and will eat them until he explodes but when Mark offered him a slice of fresh peach, he balked. Mark encouraged him to try it and he was crazy about it. This recipe is definitely a keeper and I look forward to making it again, maybe with some of the peaches we have left!
